The Variable Width editor is an excellent means of creating variable widths -- much better than the methods used by Inkscape or CorelDraw: Illustrator does have a slight advantage with its concept of setting "width points" directly in the editing window. If PL's Variable Width editor had two features:the variable width editing would be even more awesome!
- A live preview. (Currently we have to exit from two dialog boxes consecutively in order to see the changes in the editing window.)
- The ability to set the "width point" in the Variable Width graph by clicking on the vector line in the editing window. Similar to setting a curve point on the Curves adjustment dialog by clicking in the editing window.
Setting multiple independent line properties for a single line is outstanding! Incredible! : which gives this: I'm speechless! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
