The new layer search function is already shaping up to be an extremely useful addition. I hope you will also add a quick shortcut key (ctrl-F) to bring up the search by name?

And the new triangles instead of the + and - signs for the layer panel is a visual improvement as well.

If I may ask, what are those L and R buttons in the documents panel?

I am working on a scroll function for the document panel. It's not ready yet, but it should work.

I opened a bunch of documents, but the buttons do not seem to do anything...

Works already pretty good in my configuration (with a small panel at the bottom of the PhotoLine window). Thank you very, very much! :-)

Same here when the Documents panel is docked and a 48 x 48 icon size is used (Win7 Pro x64):

I think it would be more useful if the "L" and "R" buttons were somehow used for page imposition -- defining whether a page was the left or right page of a two-page spread. This would require some fairly intensive options when creating a document, but the ideal behaviour would be to work on a document using reader's spreads and then convert the pages to printer's spreads....

Yes, I think it can be eeeeeasily done....

The reason for the buttons is completely different:
I use the documents panel as a kind of tab bar (as a small horizontal bar without preview; if you pull it below a defined value the previews disappear). Then i had the problem, that the scroll bar shows up, if more documents then space in the documents field is needed, and this firstly doesn't look pretty well and secondly makes it hard to push one of the tabs. So a asked for a solution like it is done fore example in mordern browsers with buttons in the tab bar.
And here it is: not completely finished but for my purposes already really good. (Thanks again! :-))

@photoken: if you use the documents panel your way, these buttons doesn't make any sense, of course...but they have nothing to do with pages.

In general, arrows in the two directions would be more intuitiv than L and R, wouldn't they? (Yes, greetings from Firefox  )

Hey...I've never been accused of making sense all the time. Thanks for explaining them -- I'll stay with my panel layouts, however.

I like the idea of page imposition functionality, though. That would make it easy to design & print multi-page brochures on personal printers.

Hi all,

Not sure if it´s a problem of a missing feature, but when I open a HDR file with an ICC profile and resave this file again as HDR, I get a warning that the ICC can´t be saved.

Cheers,

Buttons are still cut off in the tool settings for the lasso tools:
