Die Suchfunktion finde ich praktisch, jedoch denke ich, man braucht keine Umschaltung zwischen Name und Typ. Der Filter für "Typ" kann immer aktiv sein und statt des Combofeldes einfach ein Eingabefeld anzeigen, um einen Text einzugeben. Wenn der leer ist, wird nicht danach gefiltert. Man tippt ansonsten einen Text ein welcher dann in den anzuzeigenden Elementen enthalten sein muss. Die Position sollte vielleicht unterhalb der unteren Toolbar sein, versteckt mit einem entsprechenden "Aufklapp v" Button.

Ich finde es im übrigen recht schade, dass die Idee mit dem Befüllen von mehreren Platzhalter auf einmal (plus Auto-Anfügen von Seiten) durch drag&drop nicht aufgegriffen wird. Das ist so trivial! Ich hatte gestern wieder so ein Problem bei dem ich mehrere JPEGs in eine mehrseitiges PDF Dokument konvertieren musste. Sowas braucht doch jeder mal. Zur Lösung musste ich die Bildübersicht und dann die Funktion "Katalog" bemühen, die erstellt aber wiederum keine Platzhalter und die Konfiguration ist recht komplex, auch man kann eine Menge falsch machen.
Mit meinem Vorschlag hätte es ausgereicht, einfach einen Platzhalter aufzuziehen und alle Bilder hineinzuziehen. Für alle weiteren Bilder wäre die letzte Seite dupliziert worden und dann der oder die Platzhalter entsprechend befüllt worden. Einfacher und Intuitiver kann ich es mir sowas nicht vorstellen.

Not sure if it´s a problem of a missing feature, but when I open a HDR file with an ICC profile and resave this file again as HDR, I get a warning that the ICC can´t be saved.

the HDR-Im- and Export of PhotoLine doesn't support ICC profiles. If your HDR is read with an profile, it is read by WIC (Windows) or Mac OS.
Since I have no HDR file here, where an ICC profile is embeded, it is not possible for me to add this support.

but that is the problem: I cannot make it wider - it will not let me. All other panels can generally be scaled - except the tool settings.

Are you saying the tool settings panel should be scale-able? Because mine is not.

Please don't move it to the bottom - when you search for specific layers, it is often with the intention to perform a specific layer related action on them (for example, blend mode, opacity, locking). The user would then be forced to continuously move up and down the screen: search--> move way down--->go way up to change opacity--->move way down to turn off search.

I prefer the switch. I can only compare it with Photoshop, which has multiple of these switches, and they are very handy.
However, I do agree that it would be very handy to have an option to combine the layer types and the name search.

And I would love to see the search include options to search for vector objects' colour properties, line thickness, used fonts, type sizes, and so on, as well. That would really be awesome.

Habe eben festgestellt, dass in der aktuellen Beta der Gradationsdialog leicht defekt ist: Es sind rechts Teile im Einstellungsbereich abgeschnitten.

Ausserdem wird nun beim Doppelklick auf eine Arbeitsbene nicht mehr der Dialog, sondern das Arbeitsebenenpanel angezeigt.
Das ist zwar konsistenter mit dem Verhalten, wenn mehrere Filter in einer Arbeitsebene stecken, schafft aber das Problem, dass man an manche Einstellungen nicht mehr ran kommt wie beispielsweise bei der Gradation.

I kind of like the new search function for the layer panel. Two minor suggestions:

• When the search is active, the icon's top box looks like it's a light cyan in colour. I think it would be more appropriate for it to be a green, which is the colour most associated with "OK", "Active", "Use this", etc.
• When choosing the "Type" search, all the types are initially selected, and I have to manually de-select four of them. It would be better if all the types were not initially selected.

Yes, I'd like to see searching for attributes, too. But I don't know if that should be accommodated in the "Find" box in the layers panel because those search options require a lot of space. It would probably be best to have a separate "Search" panel (that's dockable) with more extensive options.

Mir sind im Laufe des Abends noch drei Dinge ein-/aufgefallen:

1.) Wenn man im Dokumentmodus in der untersten Ebene einen Verrechnungsmodus oder Ebenenintensität (ungleich 100%) anwendet, findet die Verrechnung unabhängig von der eingestellten Dokumenthintergrundfarbe immer mit Transparenz statt (jedenfalls beim Export in PDF, beim Export in Pixelgraphiken passt natürlich alles), angezeigt wird aber die korrekte Verrechnung mit der ausgewählten Hintergrundfarbe. Das war, wenn ich mich recht entsinne mal anders. Irgendwie macht das so zwar auch Sinn, aber nachdem es anders angezeigt wird ist das jedenfalls unintuitiv.

2.) Die neuen Pfeile im Ebenenpanel sind (mit dem Worten von Marty McFly ) stark, aber wenn die Oberfläche abgedunkelt ist, ist die ausgewählte Ebene im Panel hell markiert und der Pfeil hebt sich nicht mehr ab.

3.) Für den Namenfilter in der Ebenensuche würde ich vorschlagen, Gross- und Kleinschreibung grundsätzlich zu ignorieren. Oder braucht man das mal so genau?

That will be pretty complicated then...there is a use for this, sure, but it's not a substitute for the small and fast filter option in the layer panel in my opinion.

I agree. My thought is that both the current filter option and the extensive "Search" panel would be available.

Not just that one: the curves dialog is also broken.
