Hallo,

es gibt wieder eine neue Testversion 20.00b4.

Mac OS:
http://www.pl32.com/beta/plx2000b4.zip

Neues:

Glow works! Thanks!

And that complicated SVG file loads up brilliantly! WOW!!!

PS Due to ongoing problems, I installed Windows 10 on my workstation. It took me two days to get it up and running, but it has been worth it:
- no more screen glitches in Photoline. That includes the buggy dragging behaviour that would cause tearing.
- screen updates seem much smoother now.
- screen quality seems better as well.
- PhotoLine looks better in Windows 10 than it did in Windows 7 :-)
- and the built-in spell checker is nice as well.

Bug: when the parent layer is distorted (with the distort tool), the child layer masks cannot be edited. For example, add a gradient child layer, and when the parent layer is distorted, the gradient tool does display the gradient widget, but it is impossible to edit the gradient.

In understand that the distort layer is slowing things down, and that a workaround is to combine the parent layer in a group with the child layers, but still. It should at the very least give a warning, and NOT display the gradient widget in my opinion. Or just allow the user to work in the child and parent layer, although it will slow down the operation.

The liquify layer allows us to continue to edit the contents, even when the effect is live. I would prefer that the distort effect remains live while we work on the content. It's more than fast enough on my machine.

How do I save the current curve as a new curve preset in a curves window? It does not seem possible.

If this is indeed the case, I would like to propose a "Save Current" option in the menu.

Also, it is a bit user unfriendly to assume the user knows to right-mouse click in the presets to open that menu. I think a small menu button at the top right would make it much clearer to the user that more options are available.

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

You've got "Save Active" in the context menu. Also, that context menu can also be shown by clicking the down arrow in the Curves List.

"Save Active" saves it to a new file. And when any curves window is opened via layer effects, for example, no down arrow option to display the menu exists.

But I just found out how to save a new curve: drag from the curve window into the curve list! Still, a bit obscure. I still think a simple menu entry and a menu button would be good additions, because these options are non-obvious and hidden.

Screen refresh bug:

1) open an image (background image)
2) add a layer mask.
3) use the gradient tool to add a circular gradient. Make sure the widget spans across the border (outside the image area)
4) switch back to the original image layer

Result: the widget disappears within the image area, but remains visible in the border.
