Req: "Fit to Selected" zoom setting

I'd like to have an additional zoom setting: Fit to Selected, that would zoom the image to fit the selected object(s) to the editing window.

That is already possible, albeit somewhat of a hidden option.

Hold down CTRL and click on the Full View button. It is also possible to map this command, but you must do this as a second short-cut that refers to the CTRL version. It is a bit obscure, since there is no single "fit to Selected" view command - which means we must map the full view command with a modifier key. It is currently not possible to map a singular key.

I mapped the command to the key above the tab key.

Thanks for the tip. I'd say it's more than "somewhat" hidden.

However, as noted in the beta testing, the selected object(s) are not centered in the zoomed image editing window. I'll pursue that problem in the beta forum.

With respect to this request, I think that the "Fit to Selected" should be an obvious and explicit option in the View menu: Get rid of the "Full Width" option (why "Width" and not "Height"? ), replacing it with "Fit to Selected".

The icons should be something simple:

I think that editing text in columns is important, and therefore a "Fit to Selection Width" should also be an option.
