How to record changing a layer's opacity?

Beitrag von photoken »

I'm recording an action and, as part of it, I want to do these steps:
  1. Create a child False Color adjustment layer.
  2. Change the colours of that False Color layer from black & white to black & transparent.
  3. Set the layer opacity of that False Color layer to 10%.
Steps 1 & 2 are recorded, but I can't get the action to record Step 3. :?

Answering my own question:
Record the steps of manually typing in 10.0% in the Opacity box and hitting "Enter".

I will change that, so that changes made by the double-arrow control will create an action step, too.

Sounds good. That will probably help with other controls, too. Thanks!
