Just a side note: In 21.40B4 the Action panel offers the command "Copy Base64" which puts a Base64 string to the clipboard that can directly be used in AppleScript/VBScript.

Ha! I missed that. I wrote an algorithm that converts to it from hex and was about to include it in the toolkit.
