PSPimage file format supported by plugin?

I recently found a plugin that allows many graphic editors to load and save all PSP image types up to v9 of PSP. It can be found at:

While it seems to work with my other graphic editors, I can't seem to get PL32 to see and use it. Is there a way to get PL32 to use this plugin? It would at least allow me to load a few of my old PSP image files.
