PhotoLine needs very much time for every operation. The harddisk is always accessed, too.
This is probably a main memory problem. Your computer doesn’t have enough memory therefore it is permanently swapping parts of the document to the harddisk.
These steps may reduce the problem:
• Reduce the number of undo steps with Options/Working/Undo or completely turn undo off.
• Reduce the resolution of your image. RGB-images, that you want to print on a typical ink-jet printer, shouldn‘t have a higher resolution than 150 to 200 dpi. An image, that completely fills a DIN A4 page, shouldn’t be larger than 1600*2000 Pixel.
• Check with Layer/Layer Properties, whether your image contains a
transparency channel. If it does, but it doesn’t need one, turn it off.
