Ah, I understand. I already discovered two work-arounds:Martin Huber hat geschrieben:That's not a bug but a necessity. Adjustments that correct a pixel based its neighborhood only work correctly in pixel mode, therefore pixel mode is implicitly turned on.Herbert123 hat geschrieben:Bug pixel mode: the instant I insert a Light/Shadow adjustment layer, I can no longer switch between pixel mode on/off in the view menu (ctrl-1). Pixel mode is turned on at all times in that case.
This also happen with Denoise, Remove Dust/Scratches, maximum round, minimum, and others.

1) place the file with such effects in a placeholder layer, or
2) work in pages, and create a virtual layer, which is then placed on a page.
You know, it would be extraordinarily handy if we could just right-mouse click a layer, and convert it to an embedded placeholder, and vice versa back to a real layer again. Similar to what is possible with virtual layers.
Or does Photoline already support such an option somewhere hidden in it?
