Hallo,
es gibt wieder eine neue Testversion 21.90b6.
Neues:
Color Lookup kann jetzt auch HaldCluts laden
Vektorpunkte bearbeiten: Kurvenhilfspunkte können nun an anderen Kurvenpunkten ausgerichtet werden
The new vector handles functionality works really well! Together with the transform vector points tool a workflow changer!
Just one thing I noticed: with multiple mirror axes (such as a rounded rectangle or a flower the symmetry doesn't always quite work with all points selected. So with a rounded rectangle three corners work, but the fourth corner one point will not respond to the handle movement - or only partly.
Still, this is only a small niggle. It saves a lot of clicks and effort.
The HaldCluts support is also great - unexpected! Visual effects creators looking at PhotoLine as a general purpose image editor will be interested.

I will change that. But if several handles are selected, PhotoLine can only guess which changes the user expects for the different handles, because there are several possibilities.

Crash Bug: PhotoLine crashes when the Edit Vector Points tool is used to drag a round curve segment. Instant crash.

I will fix that.

Thanks for the hard work!
Small request: I changed the transparency grid setting to 25px which causes less eye strain for me, but this setting also affects the size of the transparency grid in the colour picker fields, which leads to a confusing result. See this example:
transp grid.png
It almost looks as if white is the selected colour now. Could you perhaps fix this by having a smaller grid used in the colour fields?
Du hast keine ausreichende Berechtigung, um die Dateianhänge dieses Beitrags anzusehen.
I can't get the Table of Contents function working correctly.
- It seems that only the text in the selected textframe and -stream is used. If I don't have a textframe selected, nothing happens. And, in a magazine with multiple separated text streams, I get only one hit.
- I can't delete a textstyle to be used
- If I select a textstyle, this selection is also selected in another document, even if the name of this textstyle is not in this next document
Request: the possibility to place the page number before the name of the chapter. I have a few customers who like it that way.
I was running a 64bit windows 10.
Only PhotoLine.exe was extracted after installing beta 6. PhotoLine32.exe was not extracted.
However, in the PhotoLine folder in the Start Menu, there was still a shortcut pointing to the "PhotoLine 32 bit", which was inexistent.
I examined the version of PL32, which was still beta 2.
I was not aware of this and I was testing the beta 2 PL32 for so many weeks!
Had you done something to the installer since beta 3 which no longer extracted the 32 bit version?
Leider fehlt in der aktuellen Beta die Panorama-Funktion. Falls die Einschränkung auf Bilddateien, d.h. keine Raw Dateien, vorgenommen wird, ist die Panorama-Funktion eine tolle Sache.
When I mask an image to see a part of the image, and I want to distort this selection with the 'distort' function, PL uses the underlying image. But, because only the selected part of the image is visible, I would expect that only the resulting frame would be distorted.
Can you change that?

Isn't transparency typically a crossed box (meaning "no color")? The grid to "make transparancy visible" is a helper not a color. To be consequent it never should be displayed in a color box. According to that not the grid should be resized to the box – which is a preiview here – but the box should be enlarged to display the real size of the grid.

You mean the Distort tool?

This is not as straightforwards as other situations. The Distort tool creates a dynamic distortion and you may remove the layer mask later or add another one which will result in a distortion grid that covers only parts of the visible image or exceeds the visible bounds.

Well, the crossed box is a helper, too.

The transparency raster is a way to visualize different levels of transparency, and the color lists are currently lacking that feature.

IMHO resizing the raster is a good way to make it more generally applicable.
The size of the color fields is a problem especially in the Tool Settings's gradient editor, but adjusting controls to the size of the transparency raster may make them excessively large.
