Hello Martin,
Yep, Viveza works properly setup as an External Program. I tried your 100% zoom suggestion when running Viveza as a plugin and color does display properly at this zoom level. However, IMO the program is not really useable at any zoom level other than about full screen because you have to see changes made as you're adjusting things. What's additional odd, too, is that at full screen preview the color of the preview window is totally wrong and the loupe view is accurate; zoom the preview to 100% and it switches!! The preview window is color accurate while the loupe view now looks like the prior weirdo colors of the full preview window. Go figure!
Right now I'm thinking I probably won't pursue this any longer because none of the Nik plugins work on any layer other than the background layer in PL. And, to my mind that kind of defeats the purpose of a layered non-destructive workflow!
Thanks for all your help and input.
Best regards,
AlanH

I tried "Color Efex 2" and "Dfine 2" and both worked on a non-background layer (in my example RGB with transparency, 8 bit per channel).Alan9940 hat geschrieben:Right now I'm thinking I probably won't pursue this any longer because none of the Nik plugins work on any layer other than the background layer in PL.

Thank you for the followup. Since I always work with 16-bit per channel files for all my post-processing, I'll try 8-bit and see if that makes a difference.
