Re: Feature Requests
Hi all,
I´m on two monitors setup and now and then I need to move PL to the second monitor to have it as reference but I noticed that if there are some floating panels, they don´t move with the application, they stay floating on the first monitor and is really annoying, is there a way to add/fix this feature?
Cheers
Juan

How do you move PhotoLine to the second screen?Juan hat geschrieben:I´m on two monitors setup and now and then I need to move PL to the second monitor to have it as reference
You could create a dialog setting for the second screen.Juan hat geschrieben:but I noticed that if there are some floating panels, they don´t move with the application, they stay floating on the first monitor and is really annoying, is there a way to add/fix this feature?

Re: Feature Requests
When PL is open on my first screen just drag the windows upper main tab (where is the logo, Photoline and the file name) to the second screen.Martin Huber hat geschrieben:How do you move PhotoLine to the second screen?
Probably, I´ll try it, but at the end the most logic way is that the floating panels move with PL, don´t you think?Martin Huber hat geschrieben:You could create a dialog setting for the second screen.

Re: Feature Requests
I tried creating a second panel layout for the second screen, but it doesn´t move the floating panels to the second screen

Re: Feature Requests
You are on Windows? If so, the floating panels are usually not floating, but are docked to the main window. So they should be moved along with the main window to the other screen.Juan hat geschrieben:When PL is open on my first screen just drag the windows upper main tab (where is the logo, Photoline and the file name) to the second screen.Martin Huber hat geschrieben:How do you move PhotoLine to the second screen?
Or are you talking about the modal dialogs like the standard filter dialogs (for example "Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur")?

I mean the panels that are not docked, they don´t move to the second screen, here is an screenshot: And here a screenshot of the two screens where PL is on the second screen and the Guides panel stays on the first screen Cheers,

Re: Feature Requests
This is a request that is a continuation of Juan's request about non-docked panels.
On Win7, I've got the various colour lists displayed like this so that the image editing area is not impacted: If I move the main window, that list panel does not follow (this is on the same screen): I'd like that list toolbar to be locked into position on the main window regardless of how the main window is moved (or resized).

Save mask to alpha channel
One feature I liked in PSE is the ability to save a selection to an alpha channel in the image. When an existing alpha channel is chosen as the target, the save options include Replace, Add, Subtract, and Intersect.

"Black Mode" for menus and submenus
I'm revisiting my request for the main menu bar, submenus, and popup menus to have the "Black Mode" UI theme (Win7 x64):
Any chance of this?

Re: "Black Mode" for menus and submenus
no, PhotoLine uses dynamic menus for many things (plugins, recent files, ...). Such menus can't be darned and mixed menus are not very nice.photoken hat geschrieben:Any chance of this?

Ah, that's very unfortunate. The bright gray menus are severely distracting.Gerhard Huber hat geschrieben:no, PhotoLine uses dynamic menus for many things (plugins, recent files, ...). Such menus can't be darned and mixed menus are not very nice.photoken hat geschrieben:Any chance of this?
I'm not being argumentative, but there are programs out there (PaintShop Pro, DigiKam, and RawTherapee) which also use dynamic menus for those items and also reflect the UI colour scheme chosen by the user....

Re: "Black Mode" for menus and submenus
I've added a few of my custom PP3 processing profiles into the defaultGerhard Huber hat geschrieben: I tried RawTherapee and couldn't find a menu there - where is it?
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\RawTherapee4.1\profiles
directory.
When an image is opened in the Editor, at the upper right is a drop-down menu box for selecting processing profiles. RT builds a "My Profiles" menu item and populates its submenu with the profiles that I added.
Also, right-clicking on any image in the folder browser window brings up a context menu.
