Drag issues

Would anyone try this attached file, and drag one of the tiles around to see what the performance is like?

I am having issues with dragging anything in this file: PhotoLine lags so much that I cannot drag any element visibly - it stops updating, and only when I go very, very slow will PhotoLine show me a preview while dragging.

I tried it in version 19.51 and yes, it lacks a bit but far away from unusable. In version 22.02, it works fine.

using v.22.01 and there's zero lag, stuttering, etc., moving at any speed in any direction, circle, etc.

Thanks for testing. I will record a short video that demonstrates the issue. It's really weird.

No lags at all. CPU and GPU activity is very low even when i select all objects/layers and drag them fast.
macOS 10.14.6 on PC hardware (i7-8700K, Radeon RX 580 8GB, 32GB ram, SSD system drive)

I can't reproduce the lag. Smooth movements as always. (iMac with Catalina, PL v 2240b6)

Here is a video of my experience.

Windows 10, 48GB, Nvidia GTX1080. I really wonder what is going on, because I can't really work comfortably with this file.

The pink player character doesn't mind, though: she can now 'teleport' from one spot to the next :D

Maybe conflict with some UI enhancer? Some window/cursor decorations tool, window managers or quick global menu apps? Windows theme transparency?
Is it overloads CPU/GPU?

yes, I think so. You have many dialogs in front of your image.
Can you open %appdata/PhotoLine and send me your PhotoLine.xml file. This way I can test it here.

You know, I found out what is causing it!

I reset my GUI to another default, and suddenly the issue went away. Then I noticed the only difference: the Channels panel.

When I COMPLETELY remove the Channels panel, the problem is resolved. But when I leave the Channels panel either collapsed or open by itself in the GUI (either docked or not) it causes this issue.

When the Channels panel is grouped with the layers or another panel, it works fine too. Just when the Channels panel is by itself either docked, undocked, open, or closed, and NOT selected in a group.

Can this be fixed? I generally have the channels panel open for work.

Yes. When i open Channels panel, drag lags on macOS as well.

Thanks for confirming! I actually already had turned off any service/software I could think off last week, and still that problem persisted. Glad it wasn't me :D

That's weird!

For me, even though I have the Channels panel docked and grouped with the Layers panel, if the Channels panel is displayed (versus the Layers panel being displayed) I also get the same/similar lag in displaying a moving object/group.

Using an updated Win 10 here.

Yes, correct - same for me. Also on Win10. If the channels panel is either displayed OR selected (no matter collapsed or not), the lag happens.

Almost forgot to mention this, but this issue is resolved in the latest 22.40b7 beta!

Many thanks!
