Re: Neue Testversion 20.90b4
Small request for an aspect ratio view option that reads the meta data in a file.
Files that were saved with a different pixel aspect ration open in PhotoLine with the wrong visual aspect ratio.
Here is an example: http://www.wizzydev.com/uploads/kakekups_youtube.jpg
The pixel aspect ration is 1.5 - ideally PhotoLine would allow us to set a view option to change the pixel aspect ratio. PhotoLine would then read the meta data to correct the view for this aspect ration.
In addition, a custom pixel aspect ratio view setting would be required as well: when creating a new file for output with a different pixel aspect ratio (for example, 2:1) in the New Image/document dialog an additional option could be introduced to set a custom pixel aspect ratio. That would make it possible to work on images that require a custom pixel aspect ratio (so a circle drawn in PhotoLine would not suddenly become an oval in video editors).
Even better, it would be great if there'd be an option to convert any pixel aspect ratio to another one (resampling the image). For example, the above test image could then be automatically converted to a physical 1920x1080 resolution, and the 1.5 pixel aspect ratio meta data would be removed and replaced by the 1:1 entry.

That's not a small request.Herbert123 hat geschrieben: ↑Fr 15 Dez 2017 01:02 Small request for an aspect ratio view option that reads the meta data in a file.
Files that were saved with a different pixel aspect ration open in PhotoLine with the wrong visual aspect ratio.
PhotoLine currently has no support for aspect ratios other than 1, and it's quite a bit of work to implement it.
It should be possible to open them with the proper scaling (in document mode), but on export the aspect ratio will be lost (and will be 1).
I can't find an aspect ratio of 1.5 in this file. It has two resolutions: one in the JFIF data and one in the EXIF data, and both resolutions result in an aspect ratio of 1.Herbert123 hat geschrieben: ↑Fr 15 Dez 2017 01:02 Here is an example: http://www.wizzydev.com/uploads/kakekups_youtube.jpg

That's strange - when I open that file in Photoshop, it automatically turns on the [scaled] 1.5 pixel aspect ratio view mode.Martin Huber hat geschrieben: ↑Fr 15 Dez 2017 11:01That's not a small request.Herbert123 hat geschrieben: ↑Fr 15 Dez 2017 01:02 Small request for an aspect ratio view option that reads the meta data in a file.

I understand now that full support for different pixel aspect ratios would affect the entire application.
What would perhaps be an interim solution is to ask the user what to do with such a file - if a non 1-1 aspect ratio is detected, a dialog will pop up asking "do you want this file to be upscaled to 1920 width?
Or at least an indication somewhere that the document uses a different pixel aspect ratio.

Re: Neue Testversion 20.90b4

Re: Neue Testversion 20.90b4 - Guidelines
Hi all,
the guidelines won't function as a "snap-on" anymore.
Or I can't find the settings.
Options/display/guides will not work... these settings reacting very weird.
The ALT-button as described is also without any function at the guides.
Is someone has the same issue?
