Neue Testversion 23.00rc1

Habe gerade bei 23.00RC1 entdeckt, dass beim `Malpinsel`, `Sprühdose`, `Füllfunktion`, `Kopierpinsel` bei der `Kanäle` Einstellung auch die `Modus` Varianten enthalten sind. Das sollte doch separat sein?

Beim Verlaufswerkzeug zB. sind `Kanäle`und `Modus`getrennt einstellbar.

Nein, das ist schon Absicht. Die Farbmodelle/-räume in diesen Werkzeugen haben denselben Effekt wie die Mischmodi.

Ja, weil hier das Farbmodell/der Farbraum festlegt, wie die Farben des Verlaufs interpoliert werden. Da ist ein zusätzlicher Mischmodus sinnvoll.

I will check that. In the meantime, you could use the layer intensity instead.

Als zweites hätte ich noch einen Wunsch bezüglich der 100% Ansicht:
Wenn ich beim anschauen von Fotos die ´Verschiebehand` angewählt habe, gibt es bei einem Doppelklick keine Funktion. Deshalb hätte ich gerne einen Sprung in die 100% Ansicht, wenn ich doppelt Klicke - und zwar immer zu der Stelle auf die ich klicke. Also wenn unten links im Bild eine Blume ist, soll diese per Doppelklick auf 100% vergrössert werden. Wenn oben rechts ein Vogel im Baum sitzt dieser.
Bei einem weiteren Doppelklick sollte die Normalansicht wieder erscheinen. Also einmal Doppelklick = 100%, beim zweiten mal wieder zurück.

Dies funktioniert in Version 23 hervorragend. Wirklich nützliche Option!

What on earth happened to the checkboxes in the layer panel? Who thought it was a good idea to turn those off by default in the latest V23?

I ask, because PhotoLine works conceptually with an active and inactive selected layers, and when selecting multiple layers it becomes... awkward to work with. In particular when I work with my Wacom, multiple selecting layers is pretty much impossible without them.

They might not LOOK that great, but from a FUNCTIONAL perspective they are sort-of required to understand what is going on in certain cases. Compare:

In the first example it is unequivocally clear which layers are selected, and which are not. Not so much in the second example.

The only way to resolve this satisfactorily is to change the grays for selection to a blue (which tends to be the default selection colour anyway).
Why not redo the layer panel like so:

This setup has several advantages:
- hiding the selection mark doesn't affect understanding which layers are selected, and which ones are not
- the entire vertical area for hiding and showing layers is activated, instead of just that tiny eye icon block
- the entire vertical area for checking selected layers is activated, instead of just that tiny checkbox
- the colour of colour labelled layers are no longer affected by selecting those layers, which maintains understanding which layers are labelled with the same colour (which is not the case in the current approach: the label colour changes, making it impossible to see whether a selected layer is part of a group of labelled layers!)
- it looks far cleaner. Currently when the layer checkboxes are deactivated it just looks really weird - as if something is missing in that spot. That is no longer the case with this design.

If you are going as far as allowing the user to hide or show the selection checkbox, also:
- allow users to customize the layer selection colours to their own liking in the preferences (the Selection Color in the User Interface doesn't seem to affect layer selections?)

Bonus suggestion: add a small glint to the eye icons.
