Request: allow "Hide Original" to be recorded in action

I regularly need to "rasterize" a layer style. I tried to create an action that duplicates the layer, then sets the layer style to "Hide Original" and finally fix the layer.

But that will not work, because along with the "hide original" setting all other layer effect settings are recorded as well.

It would be great if individual layer effect settings are recorded in an action.

Also, even with an action working like this, there is still the issue that all layer effects would be fixed in the same layer. Is there a way to separate all effects in different layers -- have a new layer created for each layer effect?
