Why not removing the pl application status bar ?

Add the x and y coordinates to the image/document status bar.
Then there is no need for the app bar ... redundant

The information is related to the image in process, so it is pertinent to attach it to its frame.

I miss the status bar's zoom option. I regularly use it to zoom in to a specific percentage.

@Gerhard I always missed the option from PS that displays the actual memory footprint versus the file size footprint. That would have been nice to have in the status bar. Now that the status bar is removed, perhaps consider adding that information in the Document panel?

Without the status bar I will be lost. I need the image dimensions, the bit depth of the image, the information of the »Pixel Mode«, »Mark Extreme Values« as well as »Proof Mode«. Without this information, I could use any other editor.

Important information at a glance, without having to click and open any dialog. Simple as that.

I agree. I'd actually like the status bar to display additional options for other types of info (such as the one I suggested earlier).

To clarify : I am talking about the bottom bar of the application window (the one bar that shows CAP and NUM ; not the top bar of the image/document)

OK, another new term.
The correct terms are:
- Title Bar for the top of a Document Window
- Status Bar is a bar on the bottom of the program - Windows only
- additional, PhotoLine offers a Status Bar on the bottom of the Document Window
