Repeat last command

Say I have a line that I copy / paste, then move that pasted copy 1 inch.

Is there a shortcut to repeat last command ?

Is your line a layer?

If so, you can either:

• go to the options dialog to "Extended > System"
• activate "Distance"
• enter a distance of 1 inch

or:

• create a new action in the Actions panel ("View > Panels > Actions")
• start recording the action
• copy and paste your layer
• drag the copied layer with the mouse, the distance doesn't matter
• stop recording the action
• open your action in the Actions panel by clicking the triangle
• double click the "Move Layer" action step and enter your distance. You can change units using the context menu of the text fields.

The line was a vector layer.

"Repeat Last Command" shortcut would have been an easy way to keep copying / pasting the line as many times as needed.

That would be my use of a command like that.
