PL 22.51 & DxO FilmPack

Post by OldRadioGuy »

On a Mac desktop

Trying to get as much of my workflow through PhotoLine as possible, I attempted to add DxO FilmPack 5 as a plugin.

1. Running the FilmPack 5 plugin as a normal PL plugin crashes PhotoLine, on either a standard layer or on a placeholder layer.

2. Ran the FilmPack standalone as an External Program, and it works without crashing PL. However, FilmPack wants to save into a temporary folder, requiring additional steps to get it saved into the same folder as the original file.

Is there any way to get FilmPack to save back to the opened file in PhotoLine?

Thanks.

Bob

DxO is a little bit problematic, since it calls functions that are not present.
We worked on this in the past and think the problems are gone in the latest Beta 6 of PhotoLine

Thanks, Gerhard.

I went to the Mac version download link, clicked on it and nothing happens. Could this be caused by edits I made in the PhotoLine defaults?

I tested this right now and see no problem with the download link.
The macOS version of PhotoLine is downloaded and you can unzip it and copy it to your applications folder.
Please have a look on your browser, perhaps the download is hidden anywhere.

My download problem was occurring with the Chrome browser. I switched to Safari and the download proceeded normally.

Thank you.
