Hiya Gerhard
I have just been playing with the Digital Camera and Cylinder tools. Very, very good stuff! Very clever.
BUT -- is there a way to close the cylinder? If there is, that would be super, super kewl!
Cheers, Geoff

I just read that again, and it is ambiguous. I don't mean to close the top and bottom of the cylinder, I mean to bring the two ends of the wall of the cylinder together rather than having them open.

In the dialog "Projection" (I hope the english version is similar to my german one...) there is a slider "Range".
When you type in 360 degrees here, the cylinder is closed (Begin and end of the area are together).

Doh! I didn’t look in the manual fro this because earlier, I had seen the cylinder making tool, but had later forgotten where it was. When I searched the manual for "cylinder" and "cylindrical" I got nothing. I should have searched for "Projection" probably.
Many thanks GM. I totally missed the "Range" slider -- just blind to it. But now I have done it and it works.
