Serious problem with PL32

I have used Photoline for some time and have the latest version. For some reason I can no longer open it - the program hangs with the "hourglass" and fails to respond. I have uninstalled and re-installed with no success. Very disappointing - where do I go from here? Back to Paint Shop Pro?

try to create a folder "UserSettings" just beside the PhotoLine.exe and start it again. Does it work now?

Gerhard, you were kind enough to reply by email - thank you very much for that. In this case your suggestion of starting PL32 with the shift key pressed did the trick. The other thing I noticed (maybe of help to others) is that some of the registry keys remain when the program is uninstalled. This has the advantage that when you re-install, your preferences are maintained. On the other hand, it means that if a registry entry is causing the problem, it won't go away by uninstalling and re-installing.
