Heh. Well it is just a guide, not a rule. But you live and you learn.

I'm adedidcated mac user, but as fras I am concerned, Apple is wearing its head up its fundamental orifice in the matter of its colourless window decor. Boring as and often difficult to see for us old Mac originals now transiting the 7th decade.

Poddy is dead right, although there are always exceptions, of course.

A further thought.

Key considerations with any logo are:
* how it appears in reduction
* how it sits on a page
* how it appears when forced into grayscale.

Bold and simple are the go.
