so is the workflow lossless?
is *.pl lossless as well as layered like *.psd?
ie can i add layers without losing quality?

the correct answer is likely: It depends.
All working layers (the equivalent of PS's adjustment layers) are working lossless - and Photoline offers even sharpening and blurring as working layers..

You can do the majority of edits in Photoline working losslessly using working layers and layers masks, but certainly not absolutely everything.
