PL crashes with Topaz Labs Remask 2

I have just purchased and installed Topaz Labs Remask 2, which includes both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. The Topaz installer puts the files in C:\Program Files (x86)\ (both 32-bit and 64-bit). Thus in PL 15.55, the user has to point to this location for the plug-ins to appear.

This external plug-runs correctly in the 32-bit version of PL 15.55. In the 64-bit version of PL 15.55 Topaz Remask2 appears on the Filter menu (Filter>Topaz Labs>Topaz Remask 2), but PL crashes -- Windows message "PhotoLine has stopped working" -- when the user attempts to use it.
