Batch converting from 16bit PNG does not work
As per title, since updating to PL 23.00/23.01 I have problems with batch processing files, but only when I select PNG as a source folder filetype and source files have 16bit color depth (writing to 16bit PNG works fine, as well as converting from 8bit PNG). It does it's job only when I select "all files" or "all raster image types" as a source. There is no error or anything, just nothing happens like there wouldn't be any files to process.

Re: Batch converting from 16bit PNG does not work
I just checked - no problem on macOS 10.14.6 and Windows 10. Can process folder with 16 bit PNGs.
Only noticed some UI bugs in macOS in Batch Editor window.
Guess it is better to share your PNG Example. Maybe it is somehow special.

Re: Batch converting from 16bit PNG does not work
This indicates that the files are not actually PNG files, but are just named ".png". PhotoLine shows you the actual file type in the Browse panel: Martinfreeqstyler hat geschrieben: ↑Do 16 Dez 2021 03:27It does it's job only when I select "all files" or "all raster image types" as a source. Re: Batch converting from 16bit PNG does not work
Ok, so there is something fishy going on - some of my 16bit PNG files (exported from Photoline via File->Export or batch converted from PLD to PNG) are seen as .WIC files? It seems to only affect files created by version 23.00/01. FIles created by previous versions are correctly seen as 16bit PNG.
BTW those files work perfectly fine in IrfanView, Photoshop or any other editor/viewer.

Re: Batch converting from 16bit PNG does not work
I can't reproduce that here. Can you send us a sample file to support@pl32.com?freeqstyler hat geschrieben: ↑Do 23 Dez 2021 20:08 Ok, so there is something fishy going on - some of my 16bit PNG files (exported from Photoline via File->Export or batch converted from PLD to PNG) are seen as .WIC files? Re: Batch converting from 16bit PNG does not work
Certain EXIF data can cause this problem. It should be fixed with 23.40b2, but you will have to export the PNGs again. Sorry for the inconvience.
