CLUT - Curve Editor - Enhancement Request

I really like all the unique options in the Curve Editor. I was using the curve placement arrows with some oddly shaped curves. The arrow buttons move the curve in the desired direction for every click of the mouse. Would it be possible to have it continuously move the curve when an arrow button is held down after a short length of time? This would make it easier to move a curve a larger distance.

And/Or could the editing window be made so that the whole curve could be moved by holding down a Shift, CTRL, or ALT key? Instead of individual editing points the curve could be moved as one object. The reason I ask this, I was using the stair-step curves to create posterized effects on each color channel. I was finding interesting combinations by moving the whole curve for each color channel a large distance. Using the arrow buttons made this time-consuming.
