Writing access in forum

Post by ciebv »

Hi,

because of so many advertising posts in the forum we have to disallow anonymous postings.
Sorry for this inconvenience.

We will not accept advertisement for PhotoLine similar programs here.
No links to programs, comparable to PhotoLine are allowed.

Be aware that nobody has a 16 MPix screen, so we decided to reduce the maximum size of images here. Post only relevant parts of your images or screenshots. Nobody will see the rest.
The maximum image size is 1024x768 px
The maximum file size is 128 kByte

Just asking for a clarification. What constitutes an advertisement?

I have seen posts talking about how the PL functionality compares with that of another product, along with comments that this kind of functionality is easier in PL, or easier in product X. Is that what you are referring to? Or are you talking about actual advertisements trying to sell things? And how about links to plugins that might or might not work with PL?

I have no problem with whatever guidelines you post, but I do wish to know what they are so I can avoid violating them.

there are no fix rules, but I would prefer if there are no links to external sites.

OK. That is very reasonable, but I assume that does not include dropbox download links for photos.
