Re: Neue Testversion 22.40b13
Seems i find a critical problem with Little CMS in PhotoLine.
If i use Lab cLUT or XYZ cLUT ICC input profile with Linear gamma and transform it to working profile with normal gamma - i got some tonal and colors shift in deepest dark patches.
This problem exists only when i use Little CMS. Apple CMS (as well as Adobe CMS in other apps) don't have this problem and produce nice looking neutral grey patches when image transformed from linear gamma.
I add invert layer to better illustrate the problem. Shift is visible in patches from 16 to 22.
CMS set in Document mode, so you can switch to Little CMS or Apple CMS in PhotoLine settings to see difference in same document.
Download Example Project file and input ICC profile here:

Re: Neue Testversion 22.40b13
Also seems if i transform color spaces in multiple steps, there is no problem in Little CMS and gradient patches are match to Apple CMS:
Input Lab cLUT Linear ICC -> transform to sRGB Linear ICC -> transform to sRGB ICC.
Input Lab cLUT Linear ICC -> transform to sRGB Linear ICC -> transform to sRGB ICC.

Re: Neue Testversion 22.40b13
Also i noticed another problem with both Apple CMS and Little CMS. LAB mode in drop menu in Curves tool works not as expected (or maybe i just don't understand how it should work).
I expected that if i use drop menu in Curves tool, it transforms Adjustment layer from document color space to LAB and back to document color space. But in reality i see different colors:
Input ICC -> convert to ProPhotoRGB -> convert to LAB -> Curves Invert -> convert to ProPhotoRGB -> web export convert to sRGB
Input ICC -> convert to ProPhotoRGB -> Curves Invert in LAB mode -> web export convert to sRGB

Re: Neue Testversion 22.40b13
UPDATE: I repeat test with sRGB color space, and seems drop menu switch in Curves (and probably in all other adjustment layer tools with drop menus) always use sRGB as input by mistake.
So for example if Document set to ProPhoto RGB, Curves drop menu use by mistake sRGB as input instead of ProPhoto RGB.

Re: Neue Testversion 22.40b13
The profile of your document is source-only because it only contains a transformation from its color space to Lab, but the conversion from Lab to its color space is missing.shijan hat geschrieben: ↑Fr 30 Okt 2020 19:56 UPDATE: I repeat test with sRGB color space, and seems drop menu switch in Curves (and probably in all other adjustment layer tools with drop menus) always use sRGB as input by mistake.

This is a usual problem problem with profiles created by calibration tools. The problem can be even worse, because the calibration tools often insert a dummy transformation from Lab to the native color space that doesn't match the RGB->Lab-conversion.

In Picture mode "Rotate" + "Undo" = strange image shift.
