Seems you may also use "Command + Shift + Mouse wheel" to quickly change brush size

Phil
On my Mac, Shift + Mouse Wheel changes the size of the image, not the brush.

Maybe something with preferences?
"Command + Shift + Mouse wheel" changes brush size if:
Options -> Working -> Cursor -> Scroll Image Content by Mouse Wheel unchecked.
Also in my setup Options -> Display -> Document look like this:

In addition to PhilM's request for pointer center always stay in same position after "Cmd + Drag" size adjustment, i also can add request to hard stop in the center for on-screen brush size adjustment with "Cmd + Drag". Currently after decrease in size it continues increase to opposite way. This makes impossible to set inner size to 0 with "Cmd + Drag".
