I have seen your videos as well. I still don’t know why PL is not more widely-known.
Alt & drag to snap point to grid
I did not know that; it makes placing the center point on the a and b curves much easier.
Shift + Click to thumbnail to enable/disable it
True; there is also Alt + click to show the mask; but in Linux/Wine, the modifier keys are a little dodgy, Alt + click doesn't work, so I just pointed out the right click menu; the shortcuts are there if anyone wants to use them.

That's OK.
But for some effects it's really handy to combine different filters into 1 dialog and have all the sliders available at the same time, see attachment.

Alt & drag to snap point to grid is rather new option. It was added in 22.90b11 if believe to my bugfixes and requests tracking list https://www.pl32.com/forum3/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=6297
Also today i discovered by accident that it is possible to change brush size with up/down arrow keys. Useful in special situations if need to change size quickly by tiny amount, or if it is unwanted to change pointer position. This seems like undocumented but very useful option, so maybe it helps somehow to your videos as well.

You can also change the brush size with "Shift / Mouse wheel".
The advantage over "Control / Mouse drag" is that the position of the cursor is not changed.

That is interesting. Seems changing the brush size with "Shift + Mouse wheel" only works if "Preferences -> Working -> Cursor -> Scroll Image Content by Mouse Wheel" is enabled. I prefer to keep "Scroll Image Content by Mouse Wheel" disabled because it allow quickly zoom in/out document with mouse wheel.
UPDATE: it works using Command + Shift + Mouse wheel if "Preferences -> Working -> Cursor -> Scroll Image Content by Mouse Wheel" is enabled.
P.S. This definitely needs some keys to change brush hardness in same way...

Great video series, very educational. L-a-b is a bit harder to understand - but well explained! Thanks very much! :!:

If I could wish for one more thing, I'd like a video series on how to correctly sharpen and denoise using PhotoLine. And in such a way that the sharpness and details are not lost when denoising - and noise does not arise again when sharpening.
Which method is used when and how? et cetera . . . :D

Have you seen these?
http://www.russellcottrell.com/photo/Ph ... resize.htm
http://www.russellcottrell.com/photo/PhotoLine/raw.htm (noise reduction is about 2/3 of the way down)

Thinking about making some “bonus tracks”: copying/editing masks, dehaze, and the gray mixer. I don’t know what more I could add to sharpening and denoising, unless you think the text isn’t enough. (I personally don’t usually have the patience to watch videos; I would rather read text.)

I would also be interested in the "bonus tracks". :!:

I have read the instructions. But I prefer videos, then I can open PhotoLine at the same time and imitate everything I see, with my own pictures. That is the better way for me to learn something.

Russell, your videos are truly fantastic. Unspectacular, precise to the point, very concise. Totally different from the rest of the YouTube universe for image editing with tons of bullsh*t and blahblah. The developers should definitely compensate you for these brilliant videos.

Was thinking I had better get my **** together if I am to make a video about resizing and sharpening; came up with this:
http://www.russellcottrell.com/photo/Ph ... lation.htm

Feature request: Richardson-Lucy deconvolution (see RawTherapee, https://www.rawtherapee.com/) and disk deblur to accompany (presumably Gaussian) unsharp masking.
