no problem here, do you have a sample document for me, to reproduce the problem?

Here are examples. One with filter applied in PhotoLine and other with same filter applied in Photoshop. I also emailed same files to Martin Huber

This is not a sample image, but the result of the filter. But since it is in PLD/PSD format, I can see what the sample was.
The problem occurs with 16 bit image only. So we can see how to fix it.

Second problem:
To the best of my knowledge, a plugin cannot create layers. Correct me if you know it better. PS will make this with the automation plugin.

No, there is no way to handle automation plugins with PhotoLine or any other software than the original.

I tested 8-bit source images and Eye Candy plugin don't works with them at all. It just return image without any effect.

This is not reproduceable.
Do you have a sample image and the used filter with settings?

Ok, i got it. Plugin just don't return image if image is 8-bit and "Duplicate layer and apply effect" selected in plugin Preferences.

But alpha channel still looks incorrect in 8-bit. It is visible if add black background layer. Here are 8-bit examples:

No difference here. Perhaps different settings?

 So you just open my examples and PSD and PLD look the same on your machine ? Have no idea how it possible . Maybe you use some newer bugixed version?

I deleted PhotoLine preferences folder and open images and they still look different.
I also open images in PhotoLine on Windows virtual machine and they also look different there.
