Hello everyone:
I finally managed to figure out how to do perfect background removal with masks. Probably not that big a deal as you probably all are power users more advanced than me. But I wanted to post this to encourage new users. Like myself. PhotoLine is an incredibly capable app. It does freeze up now and then and crash a couple of times but unlike Affinity, it actually autosaves extremely well.
So here's the horsie. Started with mask brush, applied border matting, applied mask. Then painting on the mask to correct the leftover areas. Took a total of 2 hours. Mainly because I was figuring out the tools as I went along.

Nice job.
Though I've had PL for a few years, I'm putting more effort into learning it now.
I have not tackled a difficult mask yet with hair or for, your's came out well.
