Here's a small feature request, I'm not sure if this is already implemented ...
Add brush variance (randomness) to the brush dialog. This will give very good
texturing possibilities. (Also capturing and saving a brush tip from a selection
would be nice)
Something like this, maybe:
And, a 'PUSH' MODE on the brush would also be very nice. It works similar to
smudge, but it's a little more harsh.
Also, as an off-topic request make the mousewheel work as a zoom at all times.
I'm used to the fact that when editing an image I can zoom in and out with the
wheel but in Photoline it has little or no function.
But anyhoo, these are just suggestions.

Re: Brush Variance
Hello Loadus,
just a short question. Do you have un-checked the option "Scroll image content by mouse-wheel" in Options > Working > Cursor ?

And you can always switch temporary the behaviour of the mouse-wheel by holding Ctrl (Command on Mac OS).lutz hat geschrieben:just a short question. Do you have un-checked the option "Scroll image content by mouse-wheel" in Options > Working > Cursor ?

Re: Brush Variance
Back to the Brush Variance -- random would be pretty nice.

Re: Brush Variance
Just to enlarge on that a bit -- a random Brush Variance feature would be great when doing stuff like working at the border of, say, trees and sky, as I was when working on my picture to make the people less dark.

Re: Brush Variance
If you have a selection, apply "Edit/Copy", use the context menu of the brush field and choose "Paste". Is this what you mean? You can drag image layers to a brush field, too.Loadus hat geschrieben:(Also capturing and saving a brush tip from a selection

Has the push mode a different effect than increasing the intensity of the finger tool?Loadus hat geschrieben:And, a 'PUSH' MODE on the brush would also be very nice. It works similar to

It's almost the same with intensity at 100%, but with variance and stepping (and capturing a texture as a brush) you can do this:Martin Huber hat geschrieben:Has the push mode a different effect than increasing the intensity of the finger tool?Loadus hat geschrieben:And, a 'PUSH' MODE on the brush would also be very nice.
