Sieht einfach moderner aus, wie in anderen Programmen auch. Die punktierte Linie bedeutet, das dies dann das Ergebnis ist, eigentlich selbsterklärend.

Nochmal, würde mir wirklich wünschen, das PL weg von den üblichen Symbolleisten hin zu Funktionsleisten geht, zumindest da wo es angebracht ist.
Man muss nicht für jede Funktion ein Symbol in eine Symbolleiste packen können. Vieles kann man Gruppieren und auch mit nur Text arbeiten.
In den Menüs kann man gerne auch fast ganz auf Symbole verzichten.

As e-hahn explained, dotted lines means the result after using the tool and modernizing it a little bit.

Gepunktete Linien stehen im Normalfall für Lassos.
Wenn man Rechtecke verwendet, kann nicht angezeigt werden, was eine Drehung um 180 Grad macht.
Wirklich glücklich bin ich nicht mit dem Vorschlag.

still the problem that you can't see what rotate 180 degree does.
And the black/white version will be unusable on white backgrounds.
And I was told that gradients are no longer up to date - perhaps I am wrong.

You meant the Flip vertical and Flip horizontal?

Ich meinte das Drehen um 180 Grad, dass in deinen Icons fehlt (bei meinen ist es das 2. von links).
Und all diese Vorschläge sehen jetzt besser aus, als die Originalen?
Wenn sich noch ein 3. findet (bei e-hahn gehe ich mal davon aus), der das auch findet, ändere ich das.

Here is an updated one, I decided to use the same "rectangle" shape even for mirror to have more visual consistency.

Current version of PL is clear and efficient (using triangles icons).
I see no functional advantage in the alternative proposals (rectangles).
Cosmetic advantage is doubtful ...

Don't waste too much time on that ...

Nah, don't worry I mostly do this for myself I have been updating the icons for some time already and I share my file, if anybody likes it they can use it freely . Not sure if you have been following the topic but in some older pages you can see the toolbox icons I made. Therefore, what I have been looking is to make my UI more homogeneous.
