Mac OS UI. Request to use green window button as "Maximize Window" instead of "Fullscreen".
This is similar to many other professional apps that mostly require quick fit window to screen instead of switch to fullscreen mode. Currently in PhotoLine there are a lot of quick options to switch to Fullscreen mode (hotkey, custom toolbar icon, mouse click to green window button) but only one rather complicated option to maximize window (Alt+mouse click to green button) There is also option to double-click hand tool, but it problematic because it maximize window only to the right and bottom directions.



By the way, "Browse" window already have "+" button instead of "fullscreen" by default, so i guess it is not a big problem to make document or image window behave in same way.

Request to extend tiling options and add two additional menu items.
Things may look like this:

Window -> Tile Vertical (arranges all windows to vertical single row)
Window -> Tile Horizontal (arranges all windows to horizontal single row)
Window -> Grid Vertical (arranges all windows to vertical multi row grid)
Window -> Grid Horizontal (arranges all windows to horizontal multi row grid)

Or instead of new menu items you may simply add "Alt" modifier to current Tile Horizontal / Tile Vertical menu items to manually control if arrange all windows to single row or to grid.

macOS. Request for exclude minimized (docked) windows from tiling.
Currently minimized (docked) windows produce empty space during tiling:

Currently there are two types of drop down lists in different places of UI. Sometimes this looks very strange. In some places we can see random drop down lists side by side together:

I can suggest to unify all drop down lists to same flat look. This will make UI look more consistent and lightweight and will provide better look in Dark mode.

Another small visual bug. All Correction Wizard icons have random sizes.
To be honest i am not sure who use this legacy wizard tool at all

Some inconstancy in Brush Editor UI. One window use Text names for brush settings, another window use icons for same settings.


Hardness option is missing in Painting Matrix (and also in Tablet Options menu, which as i see just a quick UI for saved Painting Matrix presets).

Also i guess it may be logical to sort settings in Painting Matrix in same order as in Brush Editor.
Color and Intensity (Opacity) also seems belongs to same logical group, so they may be placed closer one to other:
Brush Size
Hardness
Roundness
Angle
Position
Color
Intensity (Opacity)

Confusion between naming of totally different tools with same name "Luminance"
These different tools also use same icon source "100050 IDP_BRIGHT"

"Luminance" slider in "Curves" adjustment layer behave like "Legacy Brightness" in Photoshop, or like "Offset" in Davinci Resolve:


"Luminance" slider in "Exposure" adjustment layer seems based on lightness response in Lab (same as L* TRC), so probably it may be renamed to "Lightness":


P.S. Overall those 3 sliders in "Curves" tool feels rather useless and only waste space and bring confusion because they partially duplicate sliders from from "Exposure" tool.

There is a small cosmetic confusion between menus:
Menu: Layout -> Document
Menu: Layout -> Page
Menu: Layer

"Rotate", "Trim", "Scale", "Change Size" lines in these menus are arranged in slightly different orders.
Is it possible to unify the order of these menu lines to something like this?
- Scale
- Change Size
- Rotate
- Trim (and other special options)

Is it possible to remove pure white fields from UI and unify everything to same uniform grey color? I understand that those fields are a part of native OS UI, but i guess it could be an option to set custom color for them. Those white fields make UI very random and also they look too deep dark in Dark UI mode.

Menu: Layout -> Page -> Copy Page(s)
This command feels like named incorrectly because in reality it Duplicates pages, but not copy them like normal "copy" command. So i guess it may be renamed to "Duplicate Page(s)"

Request/Idea: Mark with "*" edited colors in "Selective Color Correction" filter in similar way as it is currently done in "Hue/Saturation" filter. It is very useful visual hint.
Also it make sense to add same hotkeys to "Selective Color Correction" to quickly switch between colors in menu.

1. There are two types of "Gear" icon in PhotoLine that could be simplified to one single icon.
2. There are a lot of confusions with "Gear" icon sizes in different parts of PhotoLine tools and windows:

"200052 IDP_FUNCTION" used in bottom toolbar "Layer List" panel. Uses 15/17/19 grid. No problem here, but for unknown reason it require 19x19px transparent background layer to preserve correct size.

"38298 IDS_PRESET" used in "Presets" (including presets in Adjustment Layer mini toolbar).
Problem: "Presets" windows use 14/16/18 grid and don't preserves pixel perfect look from icon source with 15/17/19 grid.

"18788" Used in Browse -> Browse Settings menu. Uses 15/17/19 grid. Seems no problem here.

"10002 Einstellungen" used in "PhotoLine -> Preferences" menu icon. Also used in Levels Auto Correction window icon.
Problem: In Levels Auto Correction it uses 14/16/18 grid and don't preserves pixel perfect look from icon source with 15/17/19 grid. Icon looks too small in Levels Auto Correction and impossible to adjust separately because same icon source used in other places.
A simple fix for this problem - don't use same gear icon source in multiple places:
1. Use "10002 Einstellungen" source ONLY for 13/15/19 icons (for menu and global icons toolbar).
2. Use separate Einstellungen icon source for 16 px (for Adjustment Layer Windows, Presets, Curves, Levels, Levels Auto correction (similar as "38298 IDS_PRESET" and "18788")
3. Use separate Einstellungen icon source source for Tiny Adjustment Layers toolbar (similar as 200074, 200073, 200071 IDP_COLORPICK_TITLE)

"Function" is not used directly but it is only a source for virtual copies 200052 IDP_FUNCTION and 20032 IDS_LAYERMOVETOOL_EXTENDED
