Hello people:

I've been working in the background to create a simple system which can help programmers think like designers, and thus help them design better tools for designers in turn. It's only the first draft, and I may rethink the whole thing entirely. And it's just 2 pages. 1 page explaining the main ideas. 1 page showing how the matrix can be used.

I hope to consolidate this slowly and iteratively until we can analyse workflows and right-size tools accordingly. Have a look. Feel free to critique and feedback. :D :D :D

I took vectors as an example I'm more proficient with vector work than rasters, and understand it easily. You may not agree with the final suggestions, but that's missing the point. What's important is that it makes objective sense to break down actions and see their relationship with each other, and thus build better tools in the end.
