Congratulations to the brothers! And what a great update this is! Here is a list in which I kept track of most of the bigger and smaller additions and improvements. Best version so far!

• Colour: Colour tints: all colour dialogs are extended with a colour tint option to create tints of colour.
• Colour: All colour preview icons now include a visual indicator that alludes to their colour space. CMYK: corner bottom right. Grey: corner bottom left. Lab: corner top right. An additional dot in the corner indicates a spot colour.
• Colour: A colour can be assigned to greyscale bitmap layers in the layer properties (transparency must also be unchecked for this to function). Spot colours can also be assigned in this case.
• Colour: Histogram improvements.
• Colour Management: Colour management: optional Little CMS CMS engine. This makes Photoline colourmanagement compatible with Linux under WINE.
• Colour Management: Colour management ICC profiles are optionally loaded from a ICCProfiles folder in the preferences folder.
• External App link: External application link is improved: the file options include a “None” option.
• File Formats: Jpg files now support clipping paths
• File Formats: Tiff files now support saving of layers (Photoshop extension)
• File Formats: DDS import. Cube image are loaded on different pages.
• File Formats: Jpg2000 with ICC support.
• Filter/effect: New Wipe Filter layer

• Filter/effect: New De-haze filter to remove haze in photos (landscapes, city photograpers will like this)
• Gradients: Gradient tools offer a new mid-point control to affect the balance between two colours.

• Guides: Guides can now be based on a formula! (w=width, h=height)
• Guides: Extensive new guides-based grid and column generator! Build complex grids in seconds. These can also be based on formulas!

• Import: Scanner or Camera: option to generate multi-page documents.
• Interface: All input fields can now be dragged with the middle mouse button to set the value.
• Interface: Improved icons for several features, such as vector options, colours, etc.)
• Interface: Dark interface options extended to include all interface elements and other dark GUI improvments
• Interface: Skinning: custom icon set can be loaded by Photoline when a PicturesUser.pld file is saved in the preferences folder.

• Layers: Layer panel option to turn off the automatic display of the currently selected layer.
• Layers: Many improvements to layer selection and handling. Additional options in the layer tool have been added to control layer selection and dragging in the view. Shortcut keys can be customized to switch selection behaviour.
• Layers: Content in layers can now be selected and dragged in one action in the viewport.
• Layers: Changes to the default blend mode and opacity are now displayed in the layer in the layers panel! This is an extraordinarily useful addition – no more guessing around which blend mode and opacity was set for specific layers.
• Layers: Layer properties include option to change the rotation point with exact numbers
• Layers: Shortcut keys added to control previous/next layer blend mode.
• Layers: Multiple selections of layers in the layers panel highlight all selected layers. The active layer is more pronounced in highlighting. This is also a preference setting, and can be turned off.
• Operating System: Windows Explorer: Photoline installs a thumbnail/preview driver in Windows. Previews are available for Photoline PLD files. (Tip: combine with SageThumbs)
• Placeholder layers: New Placeholder layer type!
  - import external files in a file layer which automatically updates when changes are made to the external file
  - placeholder layer properties display resolution.
  - various options to control the cropping.
  - native PLD files with all supported options are placeholder layer compatible as well (improving asset management)
  - all supported formats are compatible with placeholder layers (including Photoshop PSD files, SVG files, and so on)
• Print/PDF: Spot Colour support! These are managed via the new document colour panel.
• Print/PDF: Overprint options for more complex print jobs! Individual layers can be set to overprint.
• Print/PDF: PDF Export: PDF/X1a and PDF/X3 are now supported.
• Tools: Rotate View tool with easy rotation point setting (click anywhere on the canvas, then drag to rotate)
• Tools: Rotate Layer tool
• Tools: Vector Lasso tool: easy vector based selections
• Tools: Blend mode choice for all drawing tools! (Photoline can also draw in HSV and Lab channels.)
• Tools: Copy brush (stamp tool for PS users) now supports scaling and rotating options. The source layer options have been extended as well, and now allow for precise control over the source layers.
• Tools: Liquify tool: option to load and save images for displacement effect
• Tools: Crop tool rounds to pixels.
• Tools: Zoom tool: right mouse drag option to zoom in and out.
• Tools: Zoom tool: maximum zoom factor increased (1% and smaller) to accommodate large files.
• Tools: Liquify tool - the liquify image can be copied, pasted, loaded and saved now.
• Vector: Vector stroke options have seen many essential improvements:
  - strokes can have variable thickness, which is controlled by a curve. Graphic tablets pressure controls the thickness while drawing.
  - three new panels!
  - line styles panel which displays all line styles
  - line style panel which offers direct control over selected strokes
  - line pattern panel which offers thickness curve control and line pattern options.
  - Outer stroke, Center Stroke, and Inner stroke options have been added!
  - possibility to define custom line patterns.
• Vector: New Vector Outline function to convert shapes to an outlineWith two views open of the same document (side by side), only the active view the user works in displays the anchor points and handles of the active vector/clipping layer. This simplifies mask creation, and provides a effective preview of any change you make.
• Vector: Vector points can be copied and pasted. Vector paths can be added as sub elements in a vector layer.
• Vector: A hairline is displayed for invisible vector layers (no fill and no stroke assigned)

The new version is out! This is a milestone release, with workflow improvements across the board, and many new features such as:
