Not compatible -- Kekus's LesFixCI (Mac only)

Just tried the Kekus LensFixCI plug-in, which is CS3-4 compatible. PhotoLine 15, 32 bit, on OS X.6.6, LensFixCI showed in the filters menu, but when I attempted to launch it, PhotoLine crashed.

All is not lost, however, as it operates as a stand-alone program too. Here's what it does:

Picture 1: A close-up t 24mm (135 equiv) with my Kodak P880 -- acute barrel distortion with a wave form! Very hard to correct by hand.

Picture 2: Opened it in LensFixCI which recognized the camera type and lens, and drew the correction from its database. Fixed.

Be handy as a plug-in -- but not really necessary as it runs perfectly fine as a stand-alone. Ot also has a plug-in to operate as an external editor in Lightroom and Aperture (but apparently not in iPhoto).

The plug-in doesn't handle a value correctly. I expanded our plug-in code and it seems to work correctly with my internal version now.
So the plug-in should work with the next version of PhotoLine.

Great, Martin.

And what about PTLens? That actually is the origin of the database that LensFix uses and, of course, it offers versions for both Windows and Mac.

And what about PTLens?

At first glance, the current version of PTLens seemed to work with PhotoLine in 64 bit. Unfortunately now my demo version of PTLens has run out of test images. And because the producer of PTLens refuses to give us a testing license, I can't do any further testing.

Gawd. Well, as you can see from my tests listed in the thread What plug-ins work with PL?, PTLens runs fine as a plug-in with PL v.15, in both 64 and 32 bit modes on OS X.6.6. Doesn't work with 32 bit + Rosetta -- but that doesn’t matter really, I only use Rosetta because I'm also running a couple of legacy things.
