Layer styles and special vector shapes

So I've noticed that PhotoLine's vector shapes such as Rounded Square/Rectangles, Freestyle Stars, and Flowers lose their "editable" state once a layer style is applied. For example, I can create a star with 5 points, then later change it to 8 points. But if I apply a layer style to that shape, the shape is apparently "flattened" or rather loses is editable state. Is there any way to preserve the editable states of these shapes even after applying layer styles?

Are there any other applications within PhotoLine that affect the vectors shapes this way?

This shouldn't happen. I will see, what I can do about it.

Idea for an odd workaround:
Group the vector and apply the effect to that group.

Just wanted to say that this appears to have been fixed in the latest release (17.03). Thanks!
