Tip for new English language users of PhotoLine

Photographers sometimes have to reset the horizons on images imported from their cameras. Most of the popular software programs have an easy fix method: click on an icon and then draw a line.

It's taken me more than three years of using PhotoLine to learn it's easy in PL, too. Alt+R and then draw a line with your mouse or use the rotation dialog in the Rotate Layer window that pops up. This works for both horizontal and vertical planes.

My thanks to a PL user who pointed me to this shortcut.

I think we English speakers tend to think of this needed operation as "straighten." But here's Here's what you get when you type "straighten" in the PL Help file search: 1. an explanation of the Crop tool and 2. an explanation of Free Lasso, Rectangle Lasso, Circle Lasso, Horizontal Lasso Line and the Vertical Lasso Column. Neither category points the user to the simple answer above.

The simple straighten operation is found under a search for "rotate."

I suggest a rewrite of the this section of the Help file to clarify the "straighten" operation.

That rotate tool is excellent -- once you find it.
