Now, something I noticed with a shock was that PL17 on the 13" hosts PhotoWiz's ColorWasher (not that I every really use it now), PictureCode's Noise Ninja (the best noise fixer in the business in my book), and Pano Tools plug-ins. There they all are, sitting up there nicely in the Filters menu, just as they should be.
I've presented these plug-ins to PL17 on the 15" but it almost audibly sniffs in disdain and refuses to let them play.
What gives? Both machines are running OS X.6.8, both are running PL 17 (17.02 on the 15"; 17.10 on the 13" -- hmmm, that's odd, I'll check into that tomorrow!), and both have the same folder of philtres. The 13" is a Core 2 duo, the 15" a Core i7.
Hmmm -- a quick check shows the 17.10 is in the downloads folder on the 13". I'll bring it across and install it on the 15" in a minute and see what happens!
