Photoline Crashing

Hi,

I am running Windows 7 64-bit with 8GB of RAM and a six core AMD CPU. The program is crashing in me every 5 minutes or so while I am working on an image. I do not recall this behavior in the past and am at a loss about what is going on or what has changed. Here is the message that Windows provides:

You can always try to reset your Usersettings. Just create a folder "Usersettings" in the main directory of Photoline, it then runs in USB-Stick-mode. I've got also an AMD 6core and I had no troubles lately. What Version do you use? Beta15 was very stable, PL was running for days during my last work.

This path seems to belong to a Mac system. Where to find the full crashlog on a Win7 system?

sorry, my fault. His log is from Windows. Windows has no usefull crash log.

PS: So the only way to find the problem is a detailed repeatable description of the way to produce it.

According to the Exception Offset, I think it's a problem with ICC profile. So check your profile settings.

Hi,

I tried changing the ICC profile to something basic like sRGB and the program continues to crash. Is there some kind of a crash log for Windows 7 x64? I am currently trying the USB mode to see if that helps although now it has forgotten that I am a registered user. I can re-enter all that information, but will work there and see if I still have issues.

Update:

The Photoline is now crashing periodically in USB mode too. This has happened consistently on two different images. I believe that USB mode resets everything to default and so I am not sure what to do next. Here is the output from Windows.

Please compress the settings folder and send it to support@pl32.com.
Additionally we need a detailed description of your working steps:
- What kind of image are you working on (pixel size, color space, bit depth)?
- What function is crashing?
- Is the crash reproducible?
- Does it crash with every image or just certain ones?

Thank you. I have been traveling recently and have not had time to spend more time localizing the issue. I also noticed that you just released a new version and so am trying that out and hoping that it magically addresses my issues. If it does, then we are set. If not, I will continue trying to analyze the situation and will send you the details you requested.
