PL cannot read EPS or AI?

Hey I downloaded some free vectors and PL cannot read them do i need to do something or get a importer plugin?

EPS is a pretty old format. Imo, it's best to convert it to pdf. The free Ghostscript package contains a tool, ps2pdf, which does the conversion. If you are on OS X, you can also open the eps in Preview which will automatically convert it to pdf.

There's something about ghostscript in the release notes of V16. "...On Windows you have to copy the Ghostscript DLL into PhotoLine's Hlp directory. The 32-bit version of the DLL must be named gsdll32.dll and the 64-bit version gsdll64.dll...." I've never checked this, but it should improve the import capabilities of EPS.

Wow, thanks - I was not aware of Ghostscript support. The eps files I tested load without a hitch. Good to know.
