i think it's the way PhotoLine works, just that i haven't figured it out yet...

Interesting... Properties of the document say 17*17px, but the layers are 16*16px, positioned at 1*1px from the upperleft corner. I Didn't know this was legal for animated gifs.

Activate a layer and try "Layout > Raster > bring to document size". This makes the layer 17*17px, too, and the small border is gone.

hmm, i cannot find "flat image" and i cannot find "Raster"...

though that seems a slow way to globally fix it...

When you create a new layer in the ordinary way, its size defaults to the size of the background. But in our case it depends on the opened file. Some file formats allow layers of different size and position, and that is reflected in the layer list.

It surely is, I have seen this problem with others, too. But the advantages are obvios when you rescale, move or rotate layer by just using the layer-tool. Or when you try a little layout and open a PDF.

It would not be such an issue as long as the "bring to document size" (awkward translation, btw) would function with multiple selected layers. At present, it does not: only one layer at a time.
