Re: PhotoLine - Gif Anim Hints 2
Hi Erikals,
Quick question. Check out the attached file.
http://www.estructor.biz/testje/gifanim2.pld
I have two animated frames and a background layer. I'd like to overwrite the background only in the gif with the 01 and 02 frame, so it will save the changed information only. However, I cannot get it right, and I am starting to wonder if gif animations support this at all?
PS other people might be interested in this file as well, because I have created a simple layer setup to automatically remove the identical pixels between the first frame and the subsequent frames.

What's that? Wehn I select a virtual copy and select "show source layer", a totally different layer stack appears?Herbert123 hat geschrieben:PS other people might be interested in this file as well, because I have created a simple layer setup to automatically remove the identical pixels between the first frame and the subsequent frames.

Re: PhotoLine - Gif Anim Hints 2
I always thought, the GIF export would do that on its own. Obviously I am wrong.Herbert123 hat geschrieben:I have two animated frames and a background layer. I'd like to overwrite the background only in the gif with the 01 and 02 frame, so it will save the changed information only.
On exporting the document as GIF, the virtual copies are losing their transparency. I will fix that.Herbert123 hat geschrieben:However, I cannot get it right, and I am starting to wonder if gif animations support this at all?

I like to manage my source files on another page, so virtual instances of those layers remain linked in another page.Hoogo hat geschrieben:What's that? With virtual layer groups it becomes easy to quickly make changes that cascade throughout the file. Very handy, clean, and easy to manage.

Re: PhotoLine - Gif Anim Hints 2
Good news! The newest beta version exports the gif animation as expected, and only the changes are saved per frame. That really results in much smaller gif animations.
