Batch Converting - timestamps

Hello,

I have a question about Batch Converting. I would like to convert a bunch of files with PhotoLine, but preserve the original Date and Date Modified attributes of the new files to match those of the old files. Is that possible?

If not, would it be possible to have an option change the order in which the files are batch converted, so that it is sorted by order of Date (instead of sorted by File Name, as it appears to be now)? That way, even though the timestamps will be different, the order of the new files will be the same as the original files.

My solution to this problem is to have my files automatically renamed such that the file name starts with YYYY-MM-DD_HH:MM:SS (the EXIF create date) during import (or, alternatively, the "Rename Multiple …" function in PL can do that). In that way, sorting by name always gives me the right sort order, independently of the order in which I edit or otherwise process the files.

If you don't want to change file names, there is also an "EXIF Date To File Date" function in PL (in "Camera" menu of the Browser) – and PL also offers to display images in EXIF date order.
