The latest version of PhotoLine -- 18.02 -- fixes a problem that was occurring when attempting to run HDR Efex Pro 2 in PhotoLine. Now, according to my tests on a Windows machine, all of the Nik plugins run correctly except Viveza, and the latest beta has not yet resolved that issue.
It appears it will be up to PhotoLine, not Google, to make it work. More on that here: http://alongwayfromcallahancounty.wordp ... 04/03/692/
Our thanks to Gerhard and Martin for their attention to these little details which make PhotoLine more attractive to a broader group of potential photography customers.

Re: PhotoLine and Google Nik Plugin Collection
I tested Viveza 2 here with the 64-Bit version of PhotoLine 18.02 and latest beta and see no problem.

Two different images. Same problem. Since you cannot replicate the problem on your system, what do you suggest?

What version of PhotoLine do you use?OldRadioGuy hat geschrieben:Two different images. Same problem. Since you cannot replicate the problem on your system, what do you suggest?
Do you work with the 64-Bit version?
Is your test image a single layer 16 Bit RGB image without transparency?

Re: PhotoLine and Google Nik Plugin Collection
No Problems with the Nik Collection in PL 18.02 and 18.40b9 64bit under Windows 7 64bit using it with a single layer image. But PL crashes when using the plugin with a copy of a layer!
But working with the plugins in general is possible.

16-bit RGB, no tranparency, tested with both single layer (background) and on a copy layer of the background, and there is a difference.Gerhard Huber hat geschrieben: Is your test image a single layer 16 Bit RGB image without transparency?
I attempt additional clarification with the screen caps below.
Viveza when first opened (on single layer) Viveza when action taken in window (on single layer) Viveza when first opened on a copy of background layer I cannot attach the fourth example for the single layer, but the window and loupe images are reversed when an action is taken in the Viveza window.
I hopes this provides additional clarification.
Thanks.

Re: PhotoLine and Google Nik Plugin Collection
OK, I tested this problem now.
The problem occurs with 16 Bit per channel images only.
The plugin seams to have problems to downscale such images. Every time, it shows the image with less then 100% zoom, the colors are not correct any longer on screen.
We traced this today for more then 4 hours and couldn't find a bug in PhotoLine.
So we can't solve this problem from here at the moment. Since Google doesn't support PhotoLine, I am afraid, but I see no solution.
