The most important vector drawing feature in Illustrator and CorelDraw that I miss in PL is the ability to have variable width profiles for vector lines. These are pre-defined (and user-defined) shapes that are stretched out along the length of the vector line.
A basic set of pre-defined profiles would be:
- Constant width.
- Thick to thin.
- Thin to thick.
- Thick to thin to thick.
- Thin to thick to thin.
The width of the thick part would be the width specified in the "Line Width" box.
There would need to be an option to apply the selected profile to all newly created lines as they are drawn or not automatically apply the selected profile.
