InkScape <-> Photoline Quick Tip
Today I discovered Photoline can share vector objects with InkScape through its app link: set it to pdf, and a vector layer is then transferred to InkScape. Edit the shape in InkScape, and save. A dialog will ask the user for the pdf settings, click OK, and switch back to Photoline. The layer is automatically updated.
This very convenient, and allows for more complex round-trip vector editing with ease.

Re: InkScape <-> Photoline Quick Tip
123, you're spending too much time doing real work, and not enough time in the user forum.

You're right that using PDF as the transfer file type makes the external programs function much more powerful....

Re: InkScape <-> Photoline Quick Tip
Sharing PDFs currently only works in the beta version, so maybe it's a bit early to discuss it here …
Cheers
Burkhard.

Re: InkScape <-> Photoline Quick Tip
Ah, my apologies. Indeed a bit too early.
I was merely showing my enthusiasm about this feature (because it is truly useful in my workflow), and sometimes it is difficult to differentiate between the beta and latest stable version.
But as far as I am aware anyone who purchases a license will have access to the beta? Anyway, I will become a bit more careful from this point on.
